Central Bank’s ATM Instruction to Banks

The Governor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI), Mahmoud Bahmani, said: “We have forwarded specific instructions to the state and private banks for the welfare of the people on these last days of the year and the upcoming New Year holiday. We have notified the banks to let the CBI know of their requirements regarding cash, checks, and gold coins as soon as possible. Also, banks are responsible for maintaining their own ATMs, so that the costumers will have access to them at all times—especially during the New Year holiday.
