The Central Bank of Iran Asks the Central Bank of Turkey for Help Controlling Inflation

According to the public relations office of the Central Bank of Iran, the Central Bank of Turkey’s success in lowering [Turkey’s] inflation rate has prompted the Central Bank of Iran to ask that country for help. Benefiting from the Central Bank of Turkey’s experience in the areas of monetary policy, monetary reform, and controlling inflation were among the issues discussed by the Deputy Minister of the Economy, the Director General for Foreign Currency Policies and Regulations, and the Director General of the Central Bank [of Iran] with Turkish officials.
