  1. What's available on Persia-House.com?

These articles are authored by members of the Persia House team and reflect an unbiased, expert view on emerging issues and trends in Iran. Summary translations of foreign language articles - done by our staff of fluent Farsi and Arabic linguists - are a portal through which our members can read first-hand accounts of Iranian-focused news. The Persia House note accompanying each summary translation provides context and insight regarding the original source and explains the relevance of the report, enabling our readers to put articles into context and better understand the significance of the news being reported.

  7. Why am I seeing old pages of Persia-House.com on my screen?
If you see an older page of Persia House, most likely your browser or the web server is keeping the old version in its cache. This is done primarily to speed the delivery of frequently accessed web pages to your browser or server. This, however, leads to out-of-date copies of pages being available for a short while.

To ensure you are viewing the most up to date pages, you can force the latest version of the page to load. For most browsers pressing the CTRL+R keys while viewing the page will do this. In Internet Explorer CTRL+F5 seems to do a deeper refresh. If that does not help, try deleting the files from you browser's temporary file cache. To do this in Internet Explorer go to the menu 'Tools' >'Internet Options' in the 'General' tab press 'Delete Files...'. This will clear your cache and your should see you new page the next time you view it. Other browsers will have similar options.

In order to access articles in their original language, look to the end of each article and click on the hyperlink enabled “here”. This link can be found in 95 percent of our articles, however, because of the instability inherent with Iranian-based news sites, some of the links have been removed from Persia-House.com because they can no longer be accessed. In other cases, a link that is imbedded in an article may be down. Because Iranian press operates under an authoritarian regime, sometimes websites, newspapers or blogs may be closed by the authorities.
